Background of this position:

Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) is dispensed from specially designed refuellers, which are driven up to parked airplanes and helicopters. Major airports have hydrant refuelling systems that pump the fuel right up to the filling outlets on the tarmac through underground pipelines for faster refuelling. Essentially, ATF is pumped into an aircraft by two methods: Overwing and Underwing. Overwing fuelling is used on smaller planes, helicopters, and piston-engine aircraft and is similar to automobile fuelling - one or more fuel ports are opened and fuel is pumped in with a conventional pump. Underwing fuelling, also called single-point is used on larger aircraft.

Day to Day Roles & Responsibilities:

• Quality Control of Aviation Fuel
• Equipment handling (Including driving of Heavy Vehicle i.e. Refueller/Bowser/ Tractor trailer vehicles at airports
• Refueling of Aircraft at Airport – Main Profile
• Interface with Airlines representative/ Aircraft Crew
• Carry out maintenance of equipment
• Maintain and Practice World Class Safety Standards
• Documentation and Record keeping

Specification for Trainee AFE

MUST Have

• Diploma - Mechanical/ E&TC/Electrica/Automobile
• Ready to Work in Shifts
• Must possess One-year-old LMV License (light motor vehicles license). 
• Robust in health.

IMP Note-

• Candidates should be in college uniform/Formals & black shoes are compulsory. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to attend the drive.
• Students with a T-Shirt, Jeans & Sandals or Floaters are not allowed.
• You have to report sharply at 08.00am
• Must carry updated resume & passport size photos.
